At City Church Bangor, creating a safe and welcoming environment for children, young people and adults at risk is a vital part of who we are. We believe that everyone who engages with our church should feel valued, respected and protected.

As part of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland, we have formally adopted the Safeguarding Policy and Taking Care Two: Safeguarding Guidelines produced by the Safeguarding Office.

We are committed to upholding the highest standards of care and accountability is all areas of church life. Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility and we work together to make sure that our church remains a safe and welcome environment for all.
