Safeguarding at City Church Bangor

We are committed to protecting the wellbeing of children, young people and adults in our care

At City Church Bangor, creating a safe and welcoming environment for children, young people and adults is a vital part of who we are. We believe that everyone who engages with our church should feel valued, respected and protected.

As part of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland, we have formally adopted the Safeguarding Policies produced by the Safeguarding Office.

We are committed to upholding the highest standards of care and accountability in all areas of church life. Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility and we work together to make sure that our church remains a safe and welcoming environment for all.
