Where can I serve?

Preparing & Serving Refreshments
We have different teams who serve in different ways - Some preparing food, whether it is soup, scones, traybakes or sandwiches whilst others welcome and serve at events such as funerals, celebrations, weekly lunches and coffee mornings.

Join our Worship Team
Anyone with a heart for worship who can sing or play an instrument is welcome to chat to our Worship Team Leader about becoming part of the team.

Supporting Children & Young People
There are always opportunities to help nurture children and young people within our community. From the more formal Boys and Girls Brigade to our children’s ministry on a Sunday (BTH) and the various expressions of youth ministry (BTC).

Supporting our Local Community
In seeking to be a place of welcome, warmth and hospitality, we always appreciate volunteers to help those who are more likely to be lonely and isolated find friendship, relationship and acceptance. Any availability during weekdays would make a valuable contribution to this ministry.

Join our Audio Visual Team
If you enjoy enabling others to worship and are good with technology (or willing to learn!), our team would warmly welcome anyone wanting to find out more and give it a try. Training and mentoring is provided for new volunteers.

Help at Events (Big or Small!)
If you have any experience coordinating events or are open to learning on the job, we have a core events management team who would value a fresh perspective and input. Additionally, for each event we specifically invite people to join the team as there are always plenty of opportunities to serve.
