City Church Bangor has a longstanding mission to respond with love and compassion to those who suffer; this conference seeks to address the hidden but growing injustice of domestic abuse across the island of Ireland.
Research shows that one in four church attendees experiences domestic abuse. The church cannot ignore the call to address and respond to the alarming rise in serious harm linked to this issue. The church is called to act courageously, speak up for victims, and actively protect and support the vulnerable in line with God’s unchanging desire for justice.
Routed in Isaiah 1:17, Break the Chain Conference urges believers to seek justice, defend the oppressed and champion the cause of those unable to speak for themselves.
