Hall Users & Organisations - Fire Safety
Fire safety is everyone’s responsibility. All hall users and organisations should be familiar with the our fire safety procedures and take care to prevent fire risks during their activities.
Emergency evacuation routes are clearly marked with green illuminated exit signs (Fig. 1) and must be kept clear at all times.
Upon your arrival, take a moment to identify the nearest fire exits from the areas you’ll be using.
In an emergency, follow the green illuminated exit signs and leave the building immediately. Do not stop to collect any belongings.
The assembly point is located outside the Bank of Ireland. Leaving via the main gates, turn left and the Bank of Ireland is on corner of Central Avenue.
First Exits & Evacuation Routes
Sound the alarm by operating the nearest fire alarm call point (Fig. 2).
Leave the building by the nearest exit.
Assist anyone who needs help to leave.
Ensure that you have closed all doors behind you.
A designated person should call 999 and request the Fire Service.
Report to the Assembly Point (Bank of Ireland).
Do not re-enter the building until authorised to do so.
